RxEconsult offers the following guidelines for submission of articles and other material, as well as a few friendly pointers on writing for the web.
Submission guidelines
Articles should be at least 400 words and can address a wide range of subjects in the medical and healthcare fields. Topics can include medications, clinical/medical information, healthcare-related business and career information, your personal healthcare experience, your opinion on health-related issues, how you solved a problem, and commentary on healthcare news. You can convert class papers or projects, posters, and podium presentations to articles and publish them for increased visibility.
Remember, if you share your knowledge, your audience will be large and growing. Articles should not be overtly promotional. Rather, they should provide interesting or helpful information.
We only accept articles that have not been published on other website.
Please follow these steps to submit (Sign in to submit articles):
Review some of the articles on the site.
Find a topic that has not been covered. You can email us if you are uncertain about your topic.
Write your article using MS Word or any other program.
Select the “publish articles” button at the top of this page or on the article listing page (select view articles in the navigation menu).
Cut and paste your article into the text editor. (Note that your article is not saved until you submit it for review). Email royalty free images (jpeg) to admin@rxeconsult.com for inclusion.
You may include a brief bio (about 3 sentences) of yourself or company at the end of your article with a link to your website. (The article is attributed to you and your name is hyperlinked to your profile.)
Select a category: Medication and Healthcare or Business and Career.
Select the closest matching subcategory or use the default.
Add a title.
Write a short description of your article (Description box).
Select submit for approval.
