The therapeutic concentration of sumatriptan is 18-60 ng/mL. The maximum concentration following Onzetra Xsail is 21 ng/mL.

Onzetra Xsail shares similar pharmacokinetics with the available sumatriptan nasal spray (Imitrex Nasal Spray).

The bioavailability for Onzetra Xsail is 19%, Imitrex Nasal Spray is 14%, and for oral sumatriptan is 15%.
