Neurological symptoms can be confusing and scary. Here is a description of the most common symptoms of neurological disorders. 


Dizziness is the most common neurological symptom. Dizziness can feel like a sense of wobbliness or lightheadedness or feeling off balance. 

There are a number of causes of dizziness. Some conditions that cause dizziness include: motion sickness

  • dehydration
  • fatigue
  • alcohol 
  • medications

In rare instances, severe dizziness may be a symptom of a stroke or heart disease. Dizziness often results from mildly decreased blood flow to the brain or from decreased nutrients in the blood, which is one of the reasons why there are so many different causes of dizziness.
